Travel Tips - Hotel Card Information

This tip comes today from Pam at the Signature Studio blog in St. Louis, MO.

I’ve read this a lot lately so it’s either true or a hoax, but it’s disturbing to think about.

It has to do with the information that your hotel key includes and it doesn’t hurt to protect yourself just in case.

  • Customer’s name
  • Customer’s partial home address
  • Hotel room number
  • Check-in date and out dates
  • Customer’s credit card number and expiration date

Employees at the front desk can use your card for personal reasons and leaving your card behind is a disaster waiting to happen. Always take your card home with you.
